One of the few surviving Georgian London auction houses, Bonhams was founded in 1793 by Thomas Dodd, a renowned antique print dealer and Walter Bonham, a book specialist. Phillips de Pury & Company opened a new office and auction space in London. The Victorian property at No. 9 Howick Place, SW1 is a former Post Office sorting station that will house the London team of specialists and conduct auctions and hold selling exhibitions in Contemporary Art, Photography, Design and Jewelry.
